A single result has limited context
Performance can change because of sleep, stress, illness, distraction or simple unfamiliarity with the task. One result should not be overinterpreted.
Your own baseline can be useful
When tests are repeated in similar conditions, the comparison with your own previous results can become more meaningful than a broad comparison with strangers.
Responsible interpretation
Long-term cognitive tracking should not diagnose medical conditions. If changes are persistent, the responsible next step is to repeat the test in similar conditions or discuss concerns with a qualified specialist.
What a good timeline should store
- Test date and device type.
- Accuracy and response time.
- Category-level scores.
- Sleep, stress, fatigue and environment context.
